Set between the historic village of Canewdon, which was renowned for its witchcraft, & Stambridge nr Rochford in south east essex, ballards gore golf club is an 18 hole course set in 110 acres of picturesque countryside &  is one of the longest courses in essex.

the course was deisgned and built in 1980 on the site of an old brickfield.  since its inauguration the club has gone from being a good new course to one of the county's finest golfing challenges.

we have an excellent balance of some lengthy par 4's, tricky par 3's and 5 lakes theres everything any golfer could require, no matter what the level experiance.

ballards gore ensures that every golfer is given the opportunity to play their own course at the time they would like to play, hence the reason we do not have a tee-time booking system.

ballards has a reputation as being one of the friendlest clubs in the area & has an extensive social calendar with regular competitions and events throughout the year.
